Towson, MD � The Towson Artists Group, a collection of talented professional and emerging artists, will present its first group show on Saturday, April 21 at the Towson Framing Gallery. The show will offer the public a chance to see and purchase high-quality yet affordable original paintings and drawings in a variety of media. Following the opening reception, the works will be available for viewing until June 30th.

The Towson Artists Group is an open art collective that meets once a week. Organized in March of 2006 by Andy Holzopfel, the Group includes members from all over Maryland, including Baltimore and Annapolis. “I wanted to create a relaxed environment where anyone could spend time developing their art,” says Holzopfel. “From beginners to lifelong artists, everyone is welcome.” While the Group’s weekly sessions focus exclusively on the human form, the show will feature work covering a wide range of subjects.
